Verizon Nexus 6 - What 2/26 Really Meant

Many Verizon users like me have been anxiously been awaiting the release of the Nexus 6 so we can use our upgrades and finally enjoy the return of the Nexus. Today, 2/26, was supposed to be that day. According to a photo leaked to the public from what looks like a Verizon presentation.

There it is!
I have been reading over the internet that it was a delay but it wasn't. I have a family member who works for Verizon and I asked her if she had seen any phones come in since release day was the next day! She said no, and not only that, they actually hadn't gotten any information or training on the handset yet.

Odd right? Phone is supposedly coming out tomorrow and they have no clue. I know Verizon employees aren't exactly reliable sources of information, but they get trained and when the phone is out they know. So what gives? We clearly have no phone today and it is 2/26. These dates for the phones, are actually when the stores are receiving their demo units and training materials. It is no coincidence that the date we assumed was the release date is actually the date the phone is officially introduced to Verizon. An article at Phandroid also says that phone typically release 2 weeks after the promotional materials arrive in store. Thus we now have a March 12th release date and this time it feels like the real thing.

Thanks for reading +1 if you liked the article and comment if you'd like too! Thanks!
